GL-3 implements a digital signal method in which motion is recognized and interacted by the sensor. Most of all, it can be built and operated at an efficient cost compared to the original touch-based screen.

Based on reliable distance measurement data, the GL-3 detects the surrounding environment and help the autonomous driving robot to avoid obstacles on the path. Also, it allows the robot to identify its position in the environment. (SLAM)
